JULY 16, 1787

[p. 44]

... Plotts of four Lotts [p. 45] in Block C. in the Town of Sydney improved and enclosed by Samuel Sparrow Esquire were laid before the Board and the claim Mr Cuyler made to them was taken into consideration, and David Taitt Esquire who had been Employed in laying out the Town of Sydney being called and requested to certify to the Board what he knew respecting the said four Lotts. The said David Taitt Declared on Oath that the Lotts alluded to were Assigned to Mr. John Wilkinson [word crossed out] Mr Sparrows' Agent in the Month of June 1785.- It was thereupon unanimously agreed that the said Plotts be returned in Order that a Grant may pass for the same to Samuel Sparrow Esquire.

      Plotts of four Town Lotts in Block C. in the Town of Sydney improved and inclosed by Samuel Sparrow Esquire were laid before the Board and the claim Mr Cuyler made to them was taken into consideration And David Tait Esquire who had been been [sic] employed in laying out the Town of Sydney being called and requested and requested to certify to the Board what he knew respecting the said Lotts.

    The said David Tait declared in Oath that the Lotts [alluded] to were Assigned to Mr. John Wilkinson Mr Sparrows' Agent in the Month of June 1785.
