NOTE:

The features at Louisbourg were reconstructed to the period 1744 - 1745. To rank the credibility of the evidence described in a Block Report, the following criteria was used:

CREDIBILITY: "A" - Very high reliability of information - the most relevant documents support the conclusion: "B" Some major documents do not support the conclusions, but the weight is still clearly for the conclusion: "C" The evidence seems to be relatively equal "for" and "against" the conclusion, but internal factors (within the documents) and such things as experience of the researcher tend to weigh in the direction of the conclusion: "D" Much conflicting evidence with no preponderance in any direction, based mostly on an experience with the type of problem (generally), or, no primary evidence but based on experience and secondary sources, etcetera.

(1) LOCALISATION: Contigu à la facade Est du magasin Delort (terrain A) et perpendiculaire à l'extremité sud de ce même magasin.

(2) NATURE DU BATIMENT: Magasin de bois.

(3) DIMENSIONS MOYENNES BATIMENT: 44.3 pieds x 19.2 pieds.

(4) DETAILS ARCHITECTURAUX: Pignon à l'extrémité est et, peut-être, une croupe reversée à l'ouest.

LOT E 4 C

(1) LOCALISATION: De long de la rue Dauphine

(2) NATURE DU BATIMENT: Magasin de charpente

(3) DIMENSIONS: 59 pieds x 22 pieds 6 pouces

(4) DETAIL ARCHITECTURAUX: Bâtiment à deux étages, avec pignon au nord, et couverture de bardeaux; planché à l'étage et de la terre battue sans doute, pour le rez-de-chaussée. Une porte était pratiquée dans le pignon nord au niveau du rez-de-chaussée et quatre fenêtres sur la facade est, deux à l'étage deux en bas.

(1) NOM DES PROPRIETAIRES: Nicolas Baron (une maison et un magasin). Jean Marguerie (les deux magasins Daccaretté).

(2) SUPERFICIE DU TERRAIN: 7648 pieds carrés.

(1) LOCALISATION: Sise au sud du terrain; extrémité ouest empiète sur la rue du Quai.

(2) NATURE DU BATIMENT: Maison de bois

(3) DIMENSIONS MOYENNES BATIMENT: 45.5 pieds x 21.6 pieds
