Your inquiry about Ste. Genevieve and the Bolduc House was given to me by the Museum Properties Chairman. She further requested that I send you some info that would assist you in your research. I would suggest the following sources which would be very helpful to you in this quest.
1. Colonial Ste. Genevieve by Dr. Carl Ekberg--priced at $17.00, shipping- $5.00
2. Colonial St. Louis--Building a Creole Capital by Charles Peterson--priced at $15.00--shipping $4.00
3. Louis Bolduc His Family and His House, also by Dr. Ekberg--price at $16.95--Shipping $4.00.
The Bolduc book includes the restoration plans and report on the house and grounds . You may purchase these works from the Bolduc House Museum in Ste. Genevieve, Mo. if you so desire. Additional information on the Bolduc House and other historic structures in Ste. Genevieve may be obtained from the Historic American Building Survey (HABS). I appreciate your reply and will inform the Fortress of Louisbourg that the above books are still available for purchase. They already have two of the books, but "Louis Bolduc His Family and His House" does not appear in their inventory.
