Cemetery Remarks
This cemetery was located and recording begun on Aug. 3, 1978. Additional work was done in June 1979 and completed on September 2, 1984 (Helped by Arthur and Agnes Poushay). Very hard to find in 1978 and reached with some difficulty then and in 1979, it has since been cleaned up (with the help of a grant), a road into it has been constructed and a sign posted which designates it "MacLeod Cemetery." 40 new wooden crosses, painted white, are placed throughout which seems to indicate that a cemetery plan exists. A small flock of sheep has been penned in, perhaps to keep the grass cropped, but their droppings make walking
uncomfortable
, if not hazardous. The recent clearing revealed nine stones previously missed.
