Cemetery Remarks
MacKinnon cemetery is a family cemetery.
Although the MacKinnon Homestead is no longer occupied and in an isolated setting, the small cemetery is well kept. Lilac shrubs have been planted and day lilies and other cultivated plants grow there. Our local guide, Ross MacLeod from the marshes, has heard that there are several more small cemeteries nearby but he doesn't know where - and I haven't found them.
