SANDRA FERGUSON'S CAPE BRETON CEMETERIES

BRADFORD CEMETERY

Unique Id
B6165 01 A

Cape Breton Location
Mira Road
Cape Breton County
Cape Breton Island
Nova Scotia, Canada

Name of the Cemetery
Bradford

Name List
Bradford, Richard

Cemetery Remarks
This is a private protestant cemetery.
The cemetery is located on the Mira Road, just above the end of the "Azar Straight Stretch." It is probably known mainly by hunters. The cemetery shows the neglect of years: There may be no family left to look after it.
It was suggested that the Bradfords may have been loyalists. R.J.M. can probably substantiate.
At any rate, it looks like three generations of Bradfords are buried here, if we can assume that Sarah & William were man & wife, and Daisy their daughter.
