Never married.

9) Lawrence Hartshorne Plant, born Sept. 11, 1800; [ died November 1, 1803 in Sydney]

As for a construction date, I would think that William Plant was living somewhere in a house because his son, Samuel was born in 1787 & two older children whom came in 1785 with their mother. He was given Lot 3 Block C.

William Plant was one of the elite whom came on the Blenhiem with Des Barras whom landed at Louisbourg in Nov of 1784 from England & over the next few weeks, made their way to Sydney. There were no soldiers on that trip, just the elite.

Just looking at the translation of the grant of 1786 - the house was to be 20 feet in length & 16 feet breadth. Land grant dated 17tn day of May in the year of our Lord, 1786 & in this 26th year of our reigning King by his Excellency King's demand, J.F. Des Barres
