RG 1, Volume 319 transcribed, August 26, 2004 - Microfilm Reel PANS 15398

THIS REEL WAS EXAMINED TO FEBRUARY 13, 1787. The entire reel should be again looked at in detail

RG 20 "A" 1782, November , (William Randal/Samuel Sparrow) 1782-24 is the number for the original manuscript, but it has been re-filed as 1782-26. 1782-26 [or 27 or 28] is the microfilm version (Microfilm 15685) which is dated November, 1782. Unfortunately the microfilm copy is spoiled, and the original [actually it is a negative photocopy as the original may be lost] must be used. The soiled microfilm copy goes as follows: Nov 1782 ... ... Petition of Saml Sparrow to have a Licence when he improves ... the Petition of Samuel Sparrow of Halifax Merchant ... that your petitioner begs to be heard in a claim of a Water Lott in the North Suburbs opposite to the Red Hospital 50 feet in the Beach ... , Petition for a water lot, north suburbs Halifax, "opposite to the Red Hospital." The lot was originally granted to William Randal, whose agent and Attorney is Sparrow, was recently granted to Robert Whiston, and is being petitioned for its return to Randal upon its improvement----- Transcribed August, 2004
