Lobster has been enjoyed at Krause House many times, often, for special events like Lynda's birthday (June) or say, Christmas. In 1972, and many years after, lobster was an inexpensive meal, and they were often bought by the dozen (locally called "shacks", that is, small canners, or less than a pound each) rather than by the pound .
