Letters of Administration to the Estate of Samuel Sparrow

Know all men by these presents that we John Edward Acres James Crowdy Esq and Bethel Wetton of Sydney in the Island of Cape Breton are held and firmly bound unto Richard Stout Esq. surrogate General for the Island of Cape Breton and its Dependencies in the sum of five Hundred pounds good and lawfull money of Great Breton to be send to him the said Richard Stout or his Successor or Successors in Office to which payment well and truly to be made to ... heirs, Executors, and Administrators, jointly, feverally, and firmly, by these Presents, sealed with our Seals this fourteenth of June in the Fifty fifth Year of His Majesty's Reign, and in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen.

The Condition of this Obligation is such that if the above bounded John Edward Acres the Administrator of all and singular the goods chattels and Credits of Samuel Sparrow deceased as make or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased which have or shall come to the hands possession or knowledge of him the said John Edward Acres or into the hands and ... of every other person or persons for him and the same do exhibit or cause to be exhibited into the Registry of our Court of Wills and Probates for the Island aforesaid at or before the eleventh day of January next ensuing; and  the said goods Chattels and Credits  of the said deceased at the time of his death which at any time after shall come to the hands or possession of any other person or persons do well and truly administer according to laws and further do make in cause to be made a true and just account of his said administration at or before the eleventh day of January which will be in the year one thousand eight hundred and Seventeen and all the rest and Residue of the said goods Chattels, and Credits to which shall be found remained upon the said Administrators Accounts the same being first examined and allowed by the judge or judges for the time being of the said Court shall deliver and pay onto such person or persons respectively as the said judge or judges by his or their direct or sentence shall limit and appoint and of it shall hereafter appear, that any last will and testament was made by the said deceased and the executor or executors therein named do exhibit the same unto the said Court making request to have it allowed and approved accordingly of the said John Edward Acres within bounded being Hereinto required do render and deliver up the said Letters of Administration (? of such ? being just La'd and made ) in said Court then this Obligation to be laid and of none effect As to remain in full force and power.
