Sparrow Says that Bills bore no Premium that he had credited at the price they were & at which he brought Bills of others at the time

Desbarres requested leave to be assisted by Mr Taylor - proposed to Show that Sparrow had made improper Charges - and slandered him - poisoned the Ears of Government, etc.

Sparrows Letter to Tait relative to Schooner Hope
Tait says that [crossed out: schooner] Sloop Nancy, in July 1785, American Vessel & cargo, Came to Sydney, and Sent by Wilkinson to St Pierre - that Sparrows Boards, Sols 20 of prm higher than others - Sparrow Said they cost only 2 dollars less than he gave
Tait Said he was offered Lumber for 5 & 6 dollars at the Mill- that double and treble Cost [arrises] after - He was asked whether Sparrow had made much Profit, answer: he believed not according to the Agreement he had seen
Laid before the Arbitrators , Sparrows [unworthy?] proposals - Letters of 26 & 27 July 1787, etc.
Note from Sparrow to Dr Peters, etc.
Desbarres desired Sparrow to say whether he had told to Mr Wilkinson that it would not be proper to investigate the Accts thorough, because it would blow up the Credts of Desbarres or to that purpose in regard to his public Accounts

Sparrow answered: I never spoke of Mr Desbarres public Accounts as depending on my own, or in any way referring to them, but may have spoken of other Parts of the public Accounts belonging to Mr Desbarres to Mr Wilkinson

Sparrow Says he had received nothing from Mr [Kriol] but 2 Imperfect Setts - that Desbarres was considerably indebted to Mr [Kriol], etc
