Halifax Ss George the Third by the grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith Sc - To the Sheriff of the County of Halifax or his Deputy Greeting We Command you that you take Alexander Leslie of Halifax in the County of Halifax Merchant (if he may be found in your precinct) and Safely keep him so that you may have him before us in our Supreme Court at Halifax on the Third Tuesday in July next to Answer [?] Samuel Sparrow Merchant in a plea of Trespass on the Case as by Declaration to be filed in due time may appear. To the Damage of the said Samuel Eighty pounds as is said and have then there this writ witness Bryan Finucane Esq. this nineteeth Day of April in the twenty firth year of our Reign ...
