Mr Sparrow attended __ produced a Book
Mr Abbot requested Govr Parrs, Bills in 1784 & 1785, at par ___ Pay masters Bills 2 1/2 premium he had one of Desbarres returned (£700) the Exchge he states to be at par __ That he [p. 1235] advised his Friends, not to take Govr Debarres' Bills, and was to advised by his Friends in London __
Mr John Simps in March & at Halifax Says Naval Offr, & Pay Masters' Bills at par in 1785 __ dont recollect he paid a Premium on any Bill __ Desbarres's Bills with a good [?] would not have borne a Premium.
Bills returned have 10 prCt damages & 6 prCt Interest, with Charges of protested pottage __ he declined to take Desbarres' Bills ___
Sparrow produced his Book and the original Bills of Parcells for the Cargo of the Swallow £692.10.4.by which it appeared he had charged only the Cash __ he is therefore intitled to his
