.. a petition from the Reverend Mr. Cossit, praying leave to go to the State of New Hampshire in order to having his family to this Island, and it appearing that if Mr. Cossit should obtain such leave at this particular season of the year he will not be able to return to his Duty on this Island before the month of June or July ...
