At thirty Days sight of this my first of Exchanges (second and third unpaid) be pleased to pay to Samuel Sparrow2 Esquire the Sum of Three hundred and thirty seven pounds seventeen Shillings Sterling Value received of him being being for the foregoing quantity of Provisions for the use of the Settlers in this Government.

10 Nov 1786 p^r Schooner Sydney £296. 17. 6 Sold by Wilkinson to individuals at enormous Prices, Objected therefore to Comⁿ - Sparrow declared that he had charged no more than prime Cost & charges, and that Comⁿ was due. And that the residue of the Cargo had afterwards been Delivered to Desbarres.
Smuggled Spirits were ordered to go from the Isl^d with the vessel
Sparrow Says that the Goods were sold at Prices 20 to 40 pc^t lower than they would have sold and that he had done for benefitting Desbarres government ...
