To His Excellency John Parr ...The Memorial of John Dacres Agent for Victualling His Majesty's Ships ...That in consequence of a Licence granted to your Memorialist for the purchase of Two Thousand Gallons of Rum for the Use of His Majesty's Squadron on this Station and the Carrening Yard Your Memorialist begs leave to inform you that he has Purchased from Messr. John Filliand Son One thousand Six Hundred and Seven gallons and from Mr. Samuel Sparrow Three Hundred and Thirty Gallons. We therefore request you will give directions to the Collectors of Import and Excise to permit the same to be moved into the Victualling Stores ...Approved 27 May 86 Parr ... Jn Dacres ...
