There is no recorded concession to Bourisse but in the barachois area. It is possible
that land bordering that property reverted to the crown when the French returned and was re-conceded to De Clos. Neither Bourisse's land near the barachois nor any of his neighbours was said to border on the road to the Royal Battery.
