"[Died.] Lieutenant Thomas Pinkney, late of the 60th or Royal American Regiment, a brave and gallant officer. He was in most Battles fought in America during the last War. He served at the Siege of Louisbourg, and in the successful Expedition against Martinico, at the Siege of Havana. He received a dangerous Wound on the Plains of Abraham, fighting against the French, when General Murray attacked them in order to raise the Siege of Quebeck."
