The first robins
Gladys Fiander spotted 2 robins on Valentine's Day. They were eating rosehips from the bushes In her back yard on east Main St.
This week's storm brought out birds to the feeders. Helen O'Shea spotted 7 Chickadees, 3 Red-Breasted Nuthatches, 35 Evening Grosbeaks, 25 Pine Siskins, a White-throated Sparrow, a Song Sparrow, 7 Slate-coloured Juncoes, 2 Blue Jays and 3 American Goldfinch. A squirrel came to dine at the feeder on several occasions.
