CHANGES OF OWNERSHIP:
1743 Joseph Lartigue died, leaving property in the hands of his widow.
DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY:
In 1733 Joseph Lartigue wrote that he had not only lost a property to the main fortifications of Louisbourg near the Dauphin Demi-Bastion, he had also lost a fishing establishment on the other side of the harbour when the careening wharf was constructed. A plan from 1753 of properties held by his widow includes a property in that area which may have been all that was left of Largtgue's original concession. Valued at only 150 livres, the property was shown with only one small building.
