- in his census La Roque noted that
Douin had purchased his property from
veuve Germain.
1755 - Douin sold land to Guillaume Le
Faucheux consisting of 2 small "presqu'iles"
situated on the south side of the river.
These were called the "Isles de la Provencale".
One was 200 toises x 300 toises, while the
other measured 70 toises x 150 toises. In
addition there was prairie behind the two presqu'iles. The land was bordered on the
east, west and north by the Rivière de Miré
and on the south by the prairie belonging to
Jean La Borde. Cost of the property was
100 livres
