Le Procureur sindic et les prieurs et religieux supnlient Sa Grandenr de vouloir bien donner les ordrds nécessaires pour qu'ils soient payés des différentes sortes qui leur vent dues, pour avoir desservi l'hôpital Royal de Louisbourg

1° de la somme de vingt deux mille deux cent treize livres deux sols, suivant l'arrêté par M. Bigot

2° Qu'ils soient payés en argent des rations ci-après suivant l'état arrêté par le sieur André Carerot garde-magasin à Louisbourg, le 30 juin 1745

3° de la somme de 1000" pour tenir lieu aux suppliants des rations qu'on leur paie en argent pour portion de temps

4° de 600 pour médicaments pour portion de temps

5° que les suppliants seront payés de la pension de 6 religieux à raison de 500" chacun pour ...1745 aussi pour portion de ternps; ainsi que l'entretien des meubles et ustensiles du d. hôpital, pour lequel il était donné par Sa Majesté trois mille livres.

6° Qu'il leur soit accordé une indemnité pour les pertes qu'ils ont souffert sur les métairies de Miré, par rapport aux bestiaux qui ont été tués et mangés par les soldats Français qui étaient en détachement, suivant les certificate des officiers qui commandaient les d. détachements. Et une autre indemnité pour les pertes et dommages qu'ils ont soufferts; ainsi que pour toutes les dépenses extraordinaires qu'ils ont été obligés de faire pour repasser en France.

Enfin qu'ils soient dispensés de payer la somme de quatre cent quatre vingt donze livres, qu'on voudrait leur retenir pour les bois que M. Bigot avait fait faire pour le Roy, et qui ne leur ont été cédés que le 24 avril 1745, attendu que les suppliants n'en ont pu profiler, puisque la ville a été bloquée le 20 mai suivant.

Ci-joint, avec le mémoire des Religieux de la Charité que Sa Grandeur lui avait renvoyée par sa dépêche du 14 juin dernier, la réponse qu'il a faite article par article.

I1 n'y a que sur celui des pertes et dommages des métairies de Miré sur lequel il n'a pas cru devoir décider, d autant plus que tous ceux de la colonie qui avaient des habitations à la compagne et maisons en ville se trouvent dans le même cas, et avec beaucoup moins de ressources.

I1 représente à Monseigneur qu'il conviendrait de ne leur faire donner qu'un accompte à Paris et le restant à Rochefort pour y mettre le tout en règle, d'ailleurs, ils doivent au Roy une somme de 2151" 2s pour vivres qui leur ont été délivrés des ses magasins de Louisbourg en 1744 qu'il faut leur retenir sur les paiements qui leur seront faits. ⁽⁶¹⁷⁾
