LOUISBOURG INSTITUTE WEBMASTER NEWSLETTER
2004, Issue 3
Latest News
During June and July, the Institute Web Master oversaw the successful upgrade (transfer of html and DbTextWorks database files/installation of WebPublisher/etc.) of the Institute's Server from NT4 (in use from 1995-2004) to Win2000 Server. All went well and and kudos should go to Mark Steadman at Compu-Clone for building the server, installing the programme files, etc. The Institute is also grateful to the Fortress Louisbourg Association [ www.fortressoflouisbourg.ca ] for underwriting the cost of the server.
Now available on our site are the following new reports:

New Sites
The Web Master has created 5 new web sites since the last newsletter. Other than the Digital Picture Web Site (Bill O'Shea has freely contributed all the High Resolution Jpeg files - shortly to be defined as the Louisbourg Institute Series - now on the site), each is in a preliminary stage, awaiting additional depositions. Each was created because of their great potential for growth.
