MANDATE

To
make available to the public the private and institutional
historical
collections, collectables and souvenirs out and about
the Island of Cape Breton.

There
shall be no cost to the individual or institutional collector.
THE
PURPOSE OF THIS SITE

It is a not-for-profit non-commercial site.

It is a place where individuals
and institutions can place textual and
image descriptions of 18th-20th century
collections for research purposes only.

It
is a place to have private collections on the
same playing field as institutional collections since
both have been major players in the conservation
field.
-
It is a place where collectors can exchange views
in a forum.
