}Know all Men by these presents that }I William Randall of Morden College in Kent Esquire }Have made ordained, Constituted and Appointed, }and by those presents do make ordain Constitute |
and Appoint Samuel Sparrow of the Town of Halifax in Nova Scotia in America Merchant my true and Lawfull Attorney for me and in my Name or in his the said Samuel Sparrow own Name but to my use, to ask demand So the adjust Compound sue for to recover and receive of all and every person and persons in this Town of Halifax aforesaid who are indebted unto me all such sum or sums of Money goods wards merchandize and Effects as are now due and owing coming or belonging to me from any such person or persons as aforesaid and on non delivery or non payment thereof or of any part or parts thereof for me and in my Name to have Use and take all Lawfull Ways and means for the recovery thereof, or of any any [sic] part or parts thereof, for me and in my Name from time to time to give Sign, Seal Execute and deliver good and Sufficient Receipts Releases and and [sic] discharge in the Law And also for me and in my Name to Enter into and upon and take possession of all that my messuage or Tenement Lands or Heriditaments and promisses with the appurtenances Situate Standing lying and being In the South Suburbs of the Town of Halifax aforesaid being described Letter A - Number 12 in the Water Lots measuring in front fifty six feet and 256 feet in Depth, And to Sell and dispose thereof absolutely to such person or persons as he shall think proper and for the most and best price that he can obtain for the same and to receive the Consideration money thereof and also for me and in my name to Sign Seal Execute and deliver in due form of Law, All such Deeds Conveyances Bargains and Sales Acquittances Releases and discharges whatsoever for the absolute Sale and disposal thereof, or of any part thereof with such Clauses Covenants and agreements to be therein Contained as my said Attorney shall think fit and Expedient, and to appoint one or more Attorneys under him for the purpose aforesaid and at Pleasure to Revoke them giving and hereby granting unto my said Attorney my full and whole power and Authority In and about the promisses as fully and Effectually and in the same manner as if I was personally present and did the same hereby ratifying ~ Confirming and allowing all and whatsoever my said Attorney shall Lawfully do or cause to be done in and about the promisses by Virtue of those presents In Witness where of the said William Randall have ~ hereunto sol my hand and Seal the fifteenth of April In the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and seventy nine.
