DeMezy a fait transporter les lits des malades dans une des salles neuves de l'hôpital. Beauharnois enverra meubles et ustencilles necessaires pour cet hopital. (260)

According to Maurepas, writing to Le Normant:
Six brothers of Charité, their normal maintenance of 1,000£ augmented by another 3,000£ for rations, 600 £ for their medicines, and 16 sols per day for the sick and rations of the soldiers was discussed. Because there was a feeling that the soldiers were badly nourished and badly cared for, the major and aid-maor were to make daily visits. The brothers also asked that fishermen pay 15 livres of cod or 30 sols for their stay in the hospital.

Les religieux de Charité seront au nombre de six désormais. Leur entretien sera augmenté de 1000", c.-a.-d. ils receveront 3000", outre 1000 " pour leurs rations et 600" pour leur médicaments, et 16 sols par jour par malade et les rations des soldats. Jusqu'à maintenant les soldats sont mal nourra et mal soignés. Ainsi, le major ou l'aide major doivent y faire une visite chaque jour. Les religieux demandent une autre concession. Ceux qui font la pêche payeront par jour 15 livres de morue ou 30 sols en argent pour leur séjour à l'hôpital. (261)

The King's intention is that the Capitulation of the Swiss Regiment of Karrer be renewed:

XXIX. Soldiers of the companies of the regiment, ill or wounded, who wish to be treated in the marine hospitals or those of the colonies, will continue to be received there by the orders of the intendant or commissaire ...
XXX Sr. Karrer will retain 4 sols 10 deniers per day on the solde of the regiment, for each soldier who will be sixk in the hospital of Rochefort, the same solide which is retained for each soldier of the marine companies sick in this hospital
XXX1 There will be retained to Sr. Karrer, for soldiers of the regiment sick in the hospitals of Saint Domingue and la Martinique, the ration en farine which must be delivered from the king's magasins to these soldiers; these rations must be delivered to the hospitals, to which Sr. Karrer will pay 2 sols per day for each soldier of his refiment who will be treated in these hospitals
XXIII In regard to those sick in the hospital at Ile Royalle, there will only be retained to Sr. Karrer, for each of them, the ration en farine, viande, legumes, beurres, etc. which must be delivered per day to the soldiers.
XXIII There will be retained to Sr. Karrer, for soldiers of the regiment in garrison at Louisianne, and who will be treated in its hospital, the same chose in vivres et argent which will be retained for soldiers of French troops garrisoned there and treated in the hospital.(262)

Le cas de l'hôpital de Louisbourg: pour chaque malade de regiment, l'hôpital retiendra la ration en farine, légumes, viande, beurre, etc. qui est délivrée ordinairement au soldat chaque jour.(264)
